Let’s say you want to double your profits… all things being equal you can do one of two things – double your traffic or double your conversion.

Simple, right? What’s funny about this is that most people try and double their traffic FIRST… when it’s almost always easier to tweak your layout and double your conversion.

Of course your results will vary from mine. The type of market you’re in, the types of ads you use, and the people who visit your sites, will all have an effect your results. So I advise against overhauling your website, without testing first.

Think of these templates as a “best practices” or guidelines for ad placement. If anything, be sure to experiment with some of the layouts, on a few of your pages, because they could double, or triple the ad revenues, that you’re making right now.

Hey Zack – yeah, I like Thesis alot and will be using it as the framework for the blog going forward.

‘Good point about the emails. I’ll make sure I do that and there are a lot of content changes planned for the site in the coming weeks so it’ll be important to keep everyone informed.
